One Year Pet Club Membership
I have been racking my brain to try and come up with some more ideas of how OO can stay competitive and extend value added services; especially to reward our repeat customers.
I also want to explore us having our OO clients pets more readily displayed on our website with pictures of the pets, and a brief synopsis of how our OO owners have seen success with our oil for their pets. I am looking for your preliminary input as to whether you perceive something like these two ideas being of interest to those of you who are existing OO customers? Please reply with your comments.
See below for my original concepts for POSSIBLE implementation:
When you place your OO orders through our website and join the OO Club, you
will receive the following benefits:.
Ocean Omegas' Pet Club is for customers that order Ocean Omega Fish Oil
Products often. You'll save 10% on every qualifying repeat order,
every time you order, and will be notified of our special sale announcements
for Ocean Omega Club Members Only, for an entire year. These "Member " only
discount specials, will allow you to save additional dollars on your future
OO fish oil orders
Membership is FREE for a year and you can see how it pays extra dividends
quickly. This is a great opportunity to get the most for your money when
buying our Ocean Omega products. We will notify you via e mail when our
specials are being offered, BUT YOU MUST OPT IN and agree to be notified.
Some clients simply do not want to receive e mails of any sort, and /or they just disregard them?
We want to honor this request. In all honesty if you are open to receiving
and reading these e mails, it is to your benefit, by being availed the
opportunity to receive additional discounts on our fish oil. ONLY MEMBERS WILL BE AVAILED THE ADDITIONAL SAVINGS , AND THEY MUST NOTIFY US OF THEIR WISH TO OPT IN!

Bill: I think that kind of thing (maybe a frequent buyer card?) would be nice for your retailers, too. One thing we constantly discuss at the store is how to compete with manufacturers who also retail to the public. As your business grows (and ours does, too!) ideas like the Frequent Buyer Card might really work, and that way we can offer the same kind of discount that you offer directly.
As a retailer who directs folks to your site frequently for more detailed information about OO, we don't want people think they are getting gouged by us because you offer discounts to the consumer that we can't.
Just maybe something to keep in mind as we all move forward, and especially if/when you decide to offer OO to more retailers.
In this day and age of competing dollars, I think the Club/Frequent Buyer fosters customer loyalty. And that's the thing with OO...once you try it, you just can't go back. the results are just too amazing.
