Alleviating Constipation in Cats

I recently received two new inquiries at our Ocean Omega website, both regarding how fish oil can be utilized in treating constipation in cats. One of the inquiries was sent in with a bad return e mail address, so for the slight chance that this individual may be reading this blog entry, heres the direct quote of how I answered the other potential OO clients same question.

I have two brother cats of my own, and they have both been on our Ocean Omega fish oil for four years, with good results in treating one cats diabetes, and the others chronic pancreatitus. My vet gives high praise for our fish oil in strengthening their immune sytems, and he concurs that it is contributory to their longevity, they just celebrated their 17th birthday.

I actually place our Ocean Omega fish oil directly as a top coat on one of my cats food, he prefers our Gold version, because he likes the fishy aroma and taste. His brother is very finicky, and we give him the Plus version, which is tasteless and odorless, and we have to give him the fish oil with an eye dropper directly administered down his gullet. We have clients who have cats that have suffered with both IBS and constipation, and the Ocean Omega fish oil has had good success in abating those afflictions in our clients cats.

A good quality catnip product, like The Catnip Queen; another fine Made In Maine Product, as well as real grass, combined with administering fish oil, can also be beneficial as treatments of constipation.

Constipation in pets, especially cats, is sometimes the result of dehydration, dietary indiscretion, or possibly an obstruction. Lack of exercise or a diet low in fiber may also contribute to this condition. In most cases, constipation in dogs and cats can be treated with a change in diet, adequate exercise and sufficient opportunities for the animal to relieve itself.

Try adding a tablespoon of bran or canned pumpkin to help the animal's stool hold moisture. Adding half a teaspoon of Ocean Omega fish oil mixed into his food each day should prove to be quite beneficial in
eliminating the constipation problem, strengthening the cats immune system, and it also will help to keep his coat soft and shiny.

All of our products are guaranteed for purity and quality, and our efficacy rate is substantial.

I hope this information serves as viable suggestions for your pets overall well being. We look forward to the opportunity of welcoming you aboard as our newest Ocean Omega client.
