Clients & Good Friends
In my previous entries, I alluded to the progression of Ocean Omega and establishing customer repoirre. When I stopped importing the Canadian Fish Oil Product, and started providing Ocean Omega Fish Oil, I had the great fortune and blessing to convert one of my Canadian Fish Oil clients.
Her name is Barbara Sanders, Proprietor of Howling Acres Argentine Dogos of Callands Virginia www.howling-acres.com Through many subsequent conversations, we actually discovered that Barbara too grew up in Portland; on the West End. The old adage of its a small world is very prevalent here.
Barbara quickly became a repeat customer of our Ocean Omega Fish Oil, and is our Southern Distributor of OO Products. She is a very reknown pet healthcare and holistic remedy expert. Before retiring to start her kennel in Virginia, Barbara had won many National Dog Show Awards with her Dogos.
Barbara has become not only a client , but a very near and dear friend to myself and Ocean Omega. She remains one of our strongest advocates. I have asked Barbara to be a contributing editor of sorts for this blog, as I value her opinions and knowledge. She is a sage to me not only in the pet healthcare arena, but also in life issues as she has led a most intriguing life.
I hope folks will continue to read my Ocean Omega Blog, and look for Barbaras' input, she is a true Yankee, open, candid, honest, and very willing to exchange pet healthcare philosophies, as she also co authors her own Dogo Chronicle Message Board.

Ocean Omega Promoting Good Health In ALL Pets!

I have been looking forward to the opening of this blog as I am a strong advocate of information and OO Oil. As mentioned I have a board designed expressly for the purpose of sharing information.
I have been using the OO oil for about six years now and my primary goal has been good health without commercial drugs for my charges. I have the kennel to prove it. I am a holistic breeder and a holistic person. I keep my dogs and myself in top condition by using products that enhance our lives. OO oil is one of the best of them. I can go on for days with stories about how I have used the oil with wildlife, a starving mother raccoon and her seven babies. A hard winter for her but she came daily and I fed her OO oil on her food. In Spring she brought her seven fluffy babies to show me as they left on their world adventure. The deer that roam my dog ranch here in the mountains have wonderful soft coats...OO oil.
My new project soon to be is raising organic free range chickens and OO oil will be a primary ingredient in their food. The eggs produced will be for personal use for the dogs and maybe I will get one or two for a souffle.
When Bill says I am a Southern distributor he mostly means I give oil to those who need it. I dropped off a bottle at a Huskie kennel this past week. They have an older dog (14) with hot spots, losing hair and appetite. The OO oil will fix that. Sometimes the toughest problems have simple solutions.
When you live for a while you cannot help but absorb life and I guess that interprets as expertise. We (nine dogos and self) are organic and holistic and healthy as they come. I attribute much of it to being a died in the wool Yankee. Maine genes are solid gold.
Another point I would like to make that many may not think of is mental health. If a dog is mentally healthy it is easier to care for them. The whole premise of good health must include mental health. OO oil enhances the natural immune system in both dog and human which leads to the general well being of both. Keeping our immune systems up and running keeps many illnesses at bay. I am not going to go technical on you but if you read the material that is on the site you will see how this works. There is time for good health in our busy lives. Physical and mental health is indeed the way and OO oil is one of the stepping stones to achieve this valuable prize.
Adding OO oil to the lives of those creatures who share our lives and give us great joy is a small stipend for the reward we receive.
I will be happy to consult with anyone about their pets and share information.
